Sitting here cross legged on my bed with two notebooks staring right up at me- one obviously on the 'blogger.com' webpage and the other one working hard doing the illegal stuff i.e. disc copying. Not a very interesting evening I would say. No use having a Vaio - the silly comp can't even multi tasks - hangs each time I open up another new program. Sigh! Hence using my good old Acer to do the backup jobs - keeps me sane while Vaio is doing the disc burning.
Rather annoyed with the whole process of burning copies of CD. It's ok if everything goes smoothly but it really gets on my nerves when i have to repeat the same process over and over until i get it right. Hate it even more when they pop up with the commands such as "Disc Error" or "Burning process failed!" Believe it or not burning or rather just copying TWO cds have taken up 1 hour of my life - and not only that... 3 of my precious blank CD-Rs have been sacrificed - I still have another 2 discs to go and i honestly do not know how many brand new empty CD-Rs have to be sacrificed. Fingers crossed. Oh SHUCKS!!!! another one gone! The same command of "Burn process failed at 24x" appears. I sure do hope the shop which sold me these CD -Rs are willing to take back these 'spoilt/used' CDs. They are a dollar each, mind ya! By the looks of it I reckon i will be up and on here all night! Actually making extra copies for a friend - I have mine already. The CDs contain...let's just say, information that would enrich my knowledge.
Ok enough of crap. I was going to snap a shot of my 'dead' CD-Rs - last count there were four (4), but too lazy to take 6 steps out of the bedroom to get my digicam. Wanted to have a snapshot and upload it onto the website. Oh yes.. i managed to upload a silly pic of me. That pic is really silly cause i couldnt really see where my cam was pointing and i just took it nonetheless, those packs are actually to reduce puffiness of my already 'panda-looking-eyes'.
Finally I am free to sleep - TWO hours just to burn 2 CDS!! Gosh! I thought technology is to make our lives easier - looks like i have to put on my 'strawberry' ice pack. Actually i think i am falling asleep sitting up so I shall sign off here. See ya!!
